Accura Animal Health Plc is a pharmaceutical and diagnostics company focused on the animal health market.  The Group is divided into two core divisions for operational purposes: Animal Health Pharmaceuticals and Animal Health Diagnostics.

Animal Health Pharmaceuticals is focused on the development, manufacture and commercialisation of pharmaceuticals aimed at improving the quality of life and maintaining the health of companion animals (household pets and horses); to be achieved through a combination of in-licensing, outsourcing and out-licensing. The Group is developing pharmaceutical products which are based upon human pharmaceutical products that have obtained regulatory approval for sale in either the US, the EU or both.  This pre-approval enables an accelerated and simplified regulatory approval process for animal use.
 
Animal Health Diagnostics manufactures and sells acute phase protein diagnostic products for animal health and welfare screening.  These products measure the level of acute phase proteins in blood and, in the case of dairy cows, milk for the detection of mastitis.  Animal Health Diagnostics is in the process of developing a new range of acute phase protein tests.
